In February 2010, PWR hosted a raffle for the Black Powder Project.

PWR Black Powder Project Rifle Raffle
- When: February 26 thru 28, 2010
- What: The “Black Powder Project” will be showing the handmade .50 Caliber , 42” Barrel, Tennessee Hog Rifle originally made around 1750 and Hand Made by Daniel "Boon" Harsh
- Where: The International Sportsmen’s Exposition being held at the University of Phoenix Stadium
- Why: Support Project “We Remembers” newest program to help disabled Veterans the “Black Powder Project”, a place where Veterans with disabilities can learn the Art and History of the Black Powder era. Each Veteran participating will finish their Black Powder project and give it to their sponsoring Veterans group to raffle and in turn will be providing help to other Veterans
- Cost: $5.00 per raffle ticket or 5 Tickets for $20.00, you may buy as many tickets as you wish and the drawing will be held the evening of March 20, 2010 during a dinner honoring State Representative Jerry Weiers, Chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee of Arizona, for all his hard work in helping our service men and women. You do not need to be present to win.
- If you are unable to come by our booth at the International Sportsman’s Exposition, you can email your ticket request to vbagley@projectweremember.org, upon receipt I will send you the tickets ordered, you then must fill out the end of the Ticket and send back to me with you check or cash. Your help will help many disabled and injured Veterans look forward to new challenges in a positive way.
