Supporting Our Military Families

Project Family
Project “Family” is currently the primary objective of Military Families Foundation, Inc and Project We Remember.  Project “Family” provides short term housing for our military personnel and their families during visits to hospitals, for therapy, surgery, and medical examinations. MFF will acquire single and multi-family living accommodations near VA hospitals. Project “Family” provides clean and comfortable living space for both individuals and family members. MFF will utilize the assistance of local based organizations to maintain the properties, clean, and care for the properties to insure a safe and comfortable stay.

Project “Family” will work with the local VA Hospitals to inform incoming patients and families of the availability of housing for the patient and their family. Each stay will be coordinated between the patient and Project “Family”. Availability will be on a “first come first serve basis”. Project “Family” will begin a pilot program in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona before moving into other areas of the U.S. The pilot program will concentrate on acquiring sufficient facilities to house 6 to 10 families in the Phoenix and 6 to 10 families in the Tucson area.

Project “Family” will make arrangements with local/national grocery chains, restaurants, and entertainment facilities to provide these veterans and their families, staying at a “We Remember” facility, discounted goods and services.
